Unit 1 Creating and Presenting Outline

Three pieces of writing and an oral presentation need to be produced to attain an S for this outcome. The work that you will need to develop is organised into three SAC categories.

1. Hybrid Creating and Prensenting and Using Language to Persuade SAC - Persuasive piece of writing and point of view oral presentation
2. Creating and Presenting SAC - Expository piece of writing
3. Creating and Presenting SAC - Creative piece of writing

You will be provided with time to plan your ideas for each SAC piece prior to the SAC writing session. This will involve developing a statement of explanation. The statement of explanation is an outline of the authorial choices have made when creating your writng pieces.

NB: At the beginning of your oral presentation you need to explain the connections your persuasive piece is making to the focus text, Context and prompt. You needed to consider this when you developed your oral presentation statement of intention sheet. You might need to add a little more thought to it than you did in the initial instance of thinking up your oral presentation idea. For SAC piece one your statement of intention = your statement of explanation.
