1. Select a story from 'Growing Up Asian in Australia' and re-read through it. As you review the story take notes about the five key narrative elements:
•Characters
•Themes
•Settings
•Conflicts
•Plot
Also identify and take notes on three literary devices at work in the text.
To finish outline connections you can see between the story and our Context of 'Understanding Self and Place'.
2. Using these notes and photopeach, create a story trailer for your text. Your trailer needs to present information on your story, the elements at work in the story including some literary devices and an explanation of how your story delivers insights on the ideas of Understanding self and place.
